Frequently asked questions
Where can I park?
The Old Bakery No.2 has space for one car to be parked under the car port. Please reverse into the space as this makes it easier to get out when you leave - oh, and watch that your boot doesn’t bump the car port ceiling!
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately not at the moment. We are only a small property, without a garden, so we can’t accept your pets, sorry!
Do I need towels?
Towels and bath mats are provided in the bathroom, as are the linen for the beds, and tea towels in the kitchen.
What else is provided?
There’s washing up liquid in the kitchen and all the other kitchen essentials like cutlery, plates and bowls, bottle opener. There’s a TV in the living room and wifi available.
Can I do my washing?
Yes you can! There’s a washing machine in the cupboard - please be careful with the buttons though, they can be a bit fragile!
Is there a local supermarket?
There’s a Co-op right over the road from our property.
Are there any good places to eat?
Loads! We can recommend a good pub meal at The Olde Ship Inn, a great cooked breakfast at the Seahouses Golf Course and the fish and chips at Lewis’s Fish Restaurant are the best! The local villages of Beadnell and Bamburgh also has some lovely restaurants and street food too
What time can I arrive / What time should I leave?
You can arrive from 3pm on your first day. Please leave the property by 9.30am on your last day.
